Position - Accommodation Maintenance Technician Location - Bristol Reporting to - Contract Manager Desired Experience & or Qualifications •CSCS card •Qualified in plumbing or carpentry •Sound administration skills with an understanding of the importance of paperwork and the accuracy and timeliness of submission •Experience in Measured Term Maintenance Contracts (desirable) •Experience in dealing directly with Client or their representative (desirable) Typical Duties We are seeking an Accommodation Maintenance Technician at the University of West England. Working as part of the Accommodation Maintenance Team, as one of the Engineers you will be responsible for maintaining high quality buildings, carrying out repairs and maintenance to internal and external Student Accommodation of a wide variety of assets. You will play a key role in planning and completing a range of works associated with minor joinery, tiling, drainage, finishes, flooring etc. •Work as part of the Accommodation Maintenance Team with responsibility for maintaining various systems •Play a key role in planning and completing a range of works on various building systems •Complete proactive inspections and any required remedial repairs •Provide exceptional maintenance services to our high profile Client and go the extra mile to deliver to the highest quality standards in all areas •Produce clear and concise reporting for the Client •Utilise PDAs / mobiles to complete works •Any other task/duties required by management.
