Position - Building Supervisor
Location - Corsham
Reporting to - Campus Manager
Desired Experience & or Qualifications
•Technically qualified as an engineer - Minimum of a City and Guilds 236/2330 Electrical
Installations (or equivalent)
•Previous supervisory experience within an FM environment
•Critical Services experience
•Wide breadth of knowledge of Building Knowledge
•Understanding of service level agreements, service targets and objectives
•Ability to produce detailed reports for the customer and Contract Manager
•IT user skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
•To be proactive and radical with the working approach, showing flexibility to both clients and

Our client is seeking an experienced building supervisor to work on a large static site in the
Corsham area. The role will require supervision and co-ordination of day to day maintenance and
repair of building systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing & HVAC etc are completed
within established time frames and to quality standards.
•To manage and monitor the work and performance of the Engineering Team: ensuring that
performance levels are maintained to deliver both excellent service to the client and also to meet
the required contract KPIs based around practical operations performance.
•Undertake the required paperwork functions (PPM management, asset management, work
scheduling and planning, heath and safety etc.) whilst being able to use practical experience and
skills to assist the Engineering Team from a practical standpoint.
•Responsible for the effective management of site building personnel to ensure that
the correct levels of suitably trained and experienced resources are on-site 24 hours a
day, 365 days a year.
•Maintain safe and effective working environment.
•Manage sub contractors attending site to carry out specialist service and project works not
within the remit of business. Managing the sub contractor whilst on site to be working safely, to
their method statements, with permits to work and management of specialist tools and
•Provide leadership to the resident and sub contract teams to achieve a consistent professional
service delivery to the client.
•Provide timely, accurate and concise data to assist the Contract Manager build required reports
to both clients and line management.
•Continually motivate the teams to develop the relationship with the client based on openness,
trust and honesty.
•Train team on policies and procedures.
•Provide management support in improving business efficiency and dealing with issues on a daily
•Maintain regular contact with Contract Manager, consult on key decisions and advise
on incidents, escalation and complaints.
•Recommend improved ways of working to achieve goal of continuous improvement.
•Gain a sound understanding of the client’s business goals and objectives.
•Liaise with the client to continually develop and enact agreed policies and procedures to meet
the business requirements.

Annual salary £43,000 - £48,000 per annum (subject to skills, qualifications and experience), 28
days holiday, pension.
