Position - Electrical Maintenance Engineer Location - Plymouth Reporting to - Account Manager Desired Experience & or Qualifications •City & Guilds Electrical Installation (236, 2351, 2330, 2365) or equivalent •JIB Gold Card (or qualifications to obtain as a minimum) •City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent •18th Ed IEE Wiring Regulations •Previous facilities service & maintenance experience •Provision of reactive and PPM maintenance to commercial & industrial clients •Health & Safety Awareness •Legionella Awareness •Proficient in use of IT software - Word/Excel etc. Typical Duties Our client is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work in a mobile capacity covering a dedicated contract across the south west region. The ideal candidate will hold a JIB Gold Card and have experience of working within the Facilities Management industry. •You will work in support of a team of Electrical and Mechanical engineers carrying out reactive and PPM maintenance to electrical and HVAC plant and equipment within a dedicated area and on a dedicated retail contract. •Duties may include (but not limited to) fault finding, minor repairs or installation alongside maintaining services and equipment. •You will need to have excellent communication skills at all levels, be happy to work unsupervised and competent in the completion of statutory paperwork. •This role is 40 hours per week with an out of hours rota of 1 in 5. Full helpdesk support is provided together via tablet technology, with all specialist tool and equipment. •Support other Engineers in the region as and when required and liaise with other members of direct and indirect staff to carry out duties effectively and with minimal disruption •Assist in the preparation of company reports, work sheets and support service level agreements and procedures as required •Carry out duties within company safety policy and advise line manager of all situations which could affect the safety of people or property •Uphold the integrity of the company at all times Remuneration Package Annual Basic Salary to £33,000 (subject to skills, qualifications and experience) based on a 40 hour week + O/T + callout, 28 days holidays, specialist tools provided and all PPE. Standby allowance is paid at £15 per day / £105 per week.
