Ability to carry out fabric and plumbing repairs
Competent in cold tarmac repairs
Building Services/Facilities Management background
Typical Duties
Our client is seeking qualified multi-trade fabric engineers with planned and reactive maintenance experience within a building services/FM environment, to work within the Bexleyheath area providing cover to leisure centre and commercial premises in the region.
Duties will include the planned and reactive maintenance repairs to a range of items which may include (but not limited to) manual doors (and associated components – brush strips/locks etc), internal & external flooring (carpet, vinyl, ceramic, concrete, tarmac), internal walls, tiling, guttering, brickwork and plumbing, floors (tiling / brick), joinery (door locks, rehanging, furniture repairs) painting, plastering, tiling etc.
The role may also include basic electrical & mechanical repairs (re-lamping, filter changes, minor A/C leaks etc).
You will need to be proactive in reporting faults to equipment, buildings and fittings.
You will need to have excellent communication skills at all levels, happy to work unsupervised and competent in the completion of statutory paperwork, attend various sites within the designated locality as directed by the Contracts Engineer or Contracts Administrator.
Deliver excellent customer service in this client facing role and ensure excellent client relationships are sustained.
Support other Engineers in the region as and when required and liaise with other members of direct and indirect staff to carry out duties effectively and with minimal disruption.
Remuneration Package
Annual Basic Salary £26,000 - £34,000 per annum (subject to skills, qualifications and experience) based on a 40hr/week, company vehicle, company pension, 20 days holiday.
