Position - Project Manager Location - South East Reporting to - Operations Manager Desired Experience & or Qualifications Essential: •A bachelor’s degree in building surveying or construction related discipline. •Hold, have held or eligible to apply for security clearance Desirable •NEBOSH, IOSH, or British Safety Council safety certification •Member of RICS or have the ability to apply for direct membership Typical Duties You will be responsible for conducting building condition surveys on the clients estate whilst managing a program of Building Condition surveys, statutory requirements, engineering good practice and management processes and procedures. Candidates should hold some form of M&E qualification and have experience of lifecycle works. Key Responsibilities: Complete Building condition surveys on the client sites in the South East (schools contract) •Collate, update and maintain an accurate Survey program for the Estate •Provide advice to the Client for asset renewal and replacement of building elements and systems. •Work with the Contracts / Account Managers to provide required technical advice to the Client on condition of the estate. •Support subcontractor in the undertaking of condition surveys to inform the Forward Works / Lifecycle Plan. •Manage the business interface with the Supply Chain with regards to building condition surveys. •Update the Forward Works / Lifecycle Plan with data from the building condition surveys •Work with the Life cycle and forward works Manager to provide reports to the Client on overall condition. •Adhoc duties as may be deemed necessary Remuneration Package Up to £55,000 + £5000 (net) Car Allowance, Mobile Phone, Pension, 35 days Holiday, Life Assurance, Health Care.
