Position - Technical Services Supervisor

Desired Experience & or Qualifications
•Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in electrical/HVAC etc
•Previous supervisory experience
•Previous experience within an FM / Building Services environment
•Understanding of HVAC / mechanical systems and infrastructure
•IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent)
•Full UK driving Licence
•HNC/ONC in Building Services
•CSCS Health & Safety Card Holder
•Knowledge of HTM’s
•Experience with CAFM systems
We are seeking an experienced Technical Services Supervisor to support our client in delivering building services maintenance and repairs across NHS sites to ensure building are maintained to the highest standards, and to ensure a safe and secure environment for staff and customers.
You should have proven experience within a building maintenance environment, with experience of managing or supervising a multi-skilled maintenance team alongside knowledge and understanding of additional building services i.e., mechanical services, combustion equipment or air-conditioning systems. Regional cover of sites will be required. Previous experience of working with Healthcare Services would be advantageous
•Ensuring compliance in accordance with all Health, Safety & Wellbeing Policies, relevant Technical Guidance, Process and Procedures, Statutory Regulations, Approved Codes of Practice and any applicable aspects of HTMs.
•Implement new standards and lead change to manage continual improvement.
•Conduct quality audits of works to ensure minimum organisational standards are met and maintained and to take immediate corrective action when required where audits do not meet such standards.
•Undertake toolbox talks and lead health & safety compliance across teams.
•Manage colleagues and undertake tasks in disciplines other than your own.
•Meet with customers and contractors to ensure works are delivered to organisational standardsnand where applicable to resolve first line customer complaints or (when appropriate) escalate to immediate line manager with a view to providing accurate information/recommendations for
corrective action to be taken.
•Responsible for the supervision, health, safety, and wellbeing of the building services team.
•Manage the Scheduled, Reactive and Remedial maintenance services as directed by the PPM planner (CAFM), helpdesk or Technical Delivery Manager, ensuring that operational standards are maintained at all times.
•Manage the distribution of works to ensure priority of statutory compliance and maintenance of services in critical environments. Maximising team resources and productivity at every opportunity which may would involve the planning and organisation of complex activities.
•To ensure that the Master Asset Data Base (CAFM) is updated via change control where it is recognised to be incorrect or incomplete.
•To maintain effective site log books, ensuring that they are completed in a timely and accurate manner and carry out audits to ensure that site log books are completed by the team/contractors etc and that records are accurate and up to date.
•This list is not exhaustive and will include other relevant duties consistent with the general requirements of building services maintenance supervision as directed by the Technical Delivery Manager or helpdesk.
Annual salary £38,000 - £42,000 (subject to skills, qualifications and experience) based on a 37.5
